Olga Inés Arango P. she is a Colombian Sculptor from the city of Medellin with an extensive career in the field of sculpture and art with a particular conception of reality, in which eroticism, sensuality, feeling and experiences are a fundamental part of her creation and work.
Olga Inés Arango Posada, has developed figurative works that have led her to make different exhibitions at national and international level, allowing her to leave her artistic mark through monumental works in our department.
PROJECTS HIGHLIGHTED
-Monumental project (Now yes, peñol, El Peñol Antioquia) Homage to livestock.
-The Series “Street professions” located in the Centro Administrativo la Alpujarra, where works such as: The shoeshine boy, The street vendor, The lottery seller and the press seller that have become iconic representations of the heart of Medellín.
-Work “La equidad” in homage to women's suffrage, located at the women's corner at the back of the Botanical Garden.
-Work “Homage to Gilberto Echeverry Mejía” Located in Llano Grande, Oriente Antioqueño.
-Work: “Source of life” Located in the main park of the municipality of Yarumal Antioquia.
-San Ignacio de Loyola” Located in the San Ignacio de Loyola School, Medellin.
-Work “El Gomelo” Located in the Manuel José Gómez School of Medellín.
-Some busts in homage to important personalities of the Department such as: Lorenzo Botero Jaramillo (Founder of Fenalco), Rosita Turizo de Trujillo (One of the founders of the Union of Women Citizens of Colombia), Carlos Mauro Hoyos (Former Attorney General of the Nation), Mother Berenice (founder of the community of the Annunciation).

Olga has dedicated more than 30 years to teaching as a teacher of Sculpture in the private field and in the public field as a professor at the Metropolitan Technological Institute, also over 14 years she has served as a cultural advisor to the project “Culture Woman Debora Arango” of the U.C.C. Union of citizens of Colombia.
Her work has led her to transcend borders, allowing her to take her message and struggle for women's rights to the European continent, where she was invited as an exhibitor in the city of Barcelona and in the municipality of Sant Andreu de la Barca in the province of Barcelona.
Her 25 years of experience in tango has allowed her to take her vision to Buenos Aires - Argentina and to Uruguay - Montevideo where she had the honorable opportunity to be invited to exhibit her series “Son Embrujo y media Luz” at the Tango Museum of the sovereign country of South America.
